Growth Engineer
Full-Time · San Francisco
Apply ↓Your job is to do whatever it takes to grow Conway. You'll know you're succeeding if you never do anything twice — find problems, solve them, and then systematize your solution. Your scope is broad: in a week, you may operationalize sales and recruiting processes, prototype alongside the engineering org, and get feedback from users.
Sample projects include:
- • Preparing Conway for conferences, including preparing our booth, prepping for a talk we're giving, and following up with the candidates we meet
- • Conducting user interviews with sub-team members of big accounts we're closing
- • Improving our agent architecture after getting feedback from users
Requirements:
- • Most importantly, you are willing to put in the work — Growth Engineers arguably have the most direct impact on Conway's performance in the near term, and the quality of your work will impact the organization (both positively and negatively) immediately
Additional Requirements:
- • You prefer unstructured environments
- • Experience in at least one fast moving startup (even better if you were the founder)
- • You have a natural tendency to embed new tools, including AI, into your workflow thoughtfully — you "offload your typing, not your thinking"
Nice to haves:
- • You've had technical experience (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or Physics undergraduate degree; technical internship; etc.)
